Family Services

Parent and Baby Changing Rooms
Located in our public toilets on the Upper Mall accessible by lift and escalator. Rooms provide changing facilities, plus toilet and washroom.

Turbo Tots
Due to government guidence, this service has temporarily been suspended.

Breast Feeding
We are a breast feeding friendly centre and are happy for Mum's to feed anywhere within the centre.

Free Child Wristbands
Losing a child, even for a few moments, can be very distressing and so for peace of mind you can visit our Customer Information Desk at the main entrance to collect a toddler wristband or security wristband for your child.

All you need to do is write your mobile number on the wristband so you can be easily contacted should your child get lost. These wristbands are bright, waterproof and tough.

Wheelchairs & Scooters
Manual wheelchairs and motorised scooters are available to hire on a first come first served basis (please contact us ahead of your trip to check availability). You'll need proof of identification with your current address visible - a valid passport or valid driver's licence.

You'll be asked to fill out a hire agreement form. Mobility services are located at the Information Desk on the Ground Floor in front of Bella Italia. The best place for accessible parking is (with vehicles below 2.1m in height) Level 3, close to the lift lobby area.

Blue Badge Parking
Quayside MediaCityUK has designated accessible parking bays available on every level of the car park. During centre trading hours parking for Blue Badge holders is free of charge for the first 4 hours. After the 4 hours each subsequent hour will be charged at normal rates, a full list of charges can be found on our tariff boards. Please display your clock in your vehicle and present your blue badge and car park ticket at the information desk on your visit during centre trading hours.

Cash Machines
There are cash machines located on the first floor (between the lifts and Newspoint) and ground floor opposite M&S Home, offering free of charge withdrawals.

An outlet shopping centre is a specialist outlet which sells stock from previous fashion seasons at a reduced cost.

Quayside MediaCityUK is located off Junction 3 of the M602 and is well connected to the public transport network, click here for directions or alternatively click here to use our journey planner.
Quayside MediaCityUK has many disabled parking spaces, wheelchairs and mobility scooters for hire, cash points, lifts and stairs, disabled toilets and baby changing facilities.
Free wifi is available for customers throughout the centre as well as selected shops who provide their own.

Scooters and wheelchairs are available, however numbers are limited, and are on a first come, first serve basis. Please contact our the Information Desk for information on 0161 848 1850. We provide these facilities free of charge, a £10 refundable deposit is required.
Quayside MediaCityUK offers easy access for disabled visitors. Parking bays are available on every floor of our Car Park and all floors of the Car Park and the shopping centre have lift access.For more information on disabled car parking, please contact the Information Desk on 0161 848 1850.
Disabled toilets are available on the Upper Level (access via lift) lobby area next to Ponden Home.

How do the cards operate?
Quayside MediaCityUK Gift Cards can be purchased for any amount between £5 and £500 from the Information Desk with any major credit/debit card. The recipient can then spend the amount on the card at any store within Quayside MediaCityUK, with the exception of Vue.

How does the recipient know the value on the card?
Customers can check their available balance and review recent transactions by visiting www.getmybalance.com or by calling 0121 268 3210 (24 hrs a day). Customers may also check their balance at the Information Desk during the Centre's opening hours or at the Information Pods located around the Centre. The remaining value will also be stated on the Customer Receipt after each transaction.

Can children use a Quayside MediaCityUK Gift Card?
Yes, there are no restrictions

For how long is the card valid?
The Gift Card is valid for 24 months from the activation date.

Intended for use at participating Quayside MediaCityUKs retailers. Unless required by law, it cannot be redeemed for cash. Card expires on and cannot be used or redeemed on the day after the 24 month anniversary of when card was purchased. Purchase, use or signing of the card constitutes acceptance of the terms in the Cardholder Agreement. Group Visitors who book 24-hours in advance will enjoy:

  • FREE parking in the lay-by on Quays Road (first come, first served basis).
  • Store Guides and leaflets will be given out to all passengers

CollectPlus Click & Collect is the easy way to send and collect parcels seven days a week. Our CollectPlus service is open between 10am-5pm Mon-Sun. Buy online at any of the participating retailers @ http://www.collectplus.co.uk/click-and-collect and get your package delivered to Quayside MediaCityUK, it’s as easy as that!

Follow the three simple steps, below:

  1. Shop from the comfort of your own home, choose the CollectPlus option and select Quayside MediaCityUK on the store locator as the place to collect your order.
  2. You’ll be emailed or sent an SMS with a collection barcode when your item arrives at Quayside MediaCityUK.
  3. Take your code to our Car Park office, located on the ground floor along with your ID and collect your parcel.

Return A Parcel

It’s easy to return a parcel to over 350 retailers, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Stick your label onto the parcel. If you can’t find that label you can download a new one @ http://www.collectplus.co.uk/retailers

  2. Drop your parcel off at our Car Park office.
  3. Track your parcel online to its destination.

Send A Parcel

The CollectPlus send service makes it easy to send parcels to both home addresses in the UK and also the CollectPlus network of over 6,300 locations if you know your recipient won’t be in.

You can send parcels up to 10kg and a range of cover is available. Certain items can’t be sent via the CollectPlus network @ http://www.collectplus.co.uk/contact#prohibited-and-restricted

Quayside MediaCityUK get many requests throughout the year to support different charities within Salford and Manchester and, although it’s a fantastic to have the opportunity to assist community projects, there are so many worthwhile causes it can be difficult to support them all.

To ensure that we are giving generously and genuinely making a difference within the local community, we have decided to pool our efforts and have one chosen charity for the year. Francis House Children’s Hospice has been chosen as our nominated local Charity of the Year for 2020, and provides appropriate respite and end of life care for children and young people with life limiting illness and the necessary support and short term care for their families.
